What is a virtFlyer Property Code?
A virtFlyer Property Code is a unique ID used to market a specific property. This code can be used over and over again with multiple properties. When inquiring for information via text message, buyers input the virtFlyer Property Code into the Message field and send it to the number on the sign. The information and images assigned to that virtFlyer Property Code is sent back to the buyer’s mobile phone. At the same time, contact information about the inquirer is sent directly to the realtor for follow up.
Can I test the system?
Absolutely! Just open text messaging on your phone and send the message “PROP101” to the number 878787. Test all elements of the system just as a potential real estate buyer would.
How many virtFlyer property Codes do I need?
We encourage you to consider how many properties that you have listed at any point and time during the year and purchase that number of codes. You can always add more codes at any time as your listing volume increases.
Can I transfer my virtFlyer Property Code to different properties?
Yes. You can keep your virtFlyer Property Codes as long as you like and reuse them over and over on different properties.
Is there a charge to the home buyer for this service?
No. This service is provided at no additional cost to the home buyer using the system. The buyer only pays for the text and data usage per their existing wireless plans. The service works with any web enabled cell phone and 100% of all wireless carriers.
Do I have to pay every time someone requests information?
No, we do not charge you for individual text messages. Regardless of how many inquires a property generates your monthly rate will remain the same. We feel it is of greater value to subscribe to a service and know exactly how much it will cost you each month. There are no "per-message" or "per-lead" charges.
Can I choose my own virtFlyer Property codes? (Also known as vanity codes.)
Currently we do not offer virtFlyer vanity codes but will be offering this in the near future.
Are signs included with the service?
Yes, one virtFlyer rider sign is included with each code purchased. Additional virtFlyer rider signs can be purchased for a fee through your user dashboard.
What does a buyer receive on their phone?
When a buyer sends a text for information about a property they receive key property information and a link to that property on the mobile web. Through the link to the mobile web, buyers can view images of the property, schedule a showing, send the listing to their email address, or search other properties posted by the realtor or within the virtFlyer Global Database.
How do I get notified of an inquiry?
When an inquiry occurs you are notified immediately. You can choose your method of notification, either Text Message and/or Email. Your My Codes dashboard will always receive inquiry updates.
Does virtFlyer deliver property images?
Yes. As long as buyers have access to the mobile web, they will be able to instantly view property images and take action on their interest.
Can Buyers view my other properties?
Yes. When a Buyer views a property they have the option to view ALL of the properties that you have posted with virtFlyer. The more properties you have listed the more options the buyer has.
Can Buyers view all of the other properties in the virtFlyer Global Database?
If you have selected that your listing can be placed in the virtFlyer Global Database then it will be visible when a buyer searches for properties in the surrounding area.
Can Buyers map my other properties?
Yes. To make finding other properties easy, through the click of a button you can map any property using our integrated Google Maps feature.
Can I change my virtFlyer Property Codes terms of my service?
You can change the terms of your service at any time through your My Codes dashboard. Changes take effect immediately following the completion of the current virtFlyer Property Codes terms.
How many inquiries will I receive on my properties?
The amount of inquiries you'll receive varies depending on location, signage, traffic and consumer interest. It all depends on how you promote your campaigns (sign, flyer, advertisement) and the amount of traffic outside the property. Many realtors will use their virtFlyer Property Code in newspaper or magazine advertisements to raise the visibility of properties in low traffic areas.
Why would I use my virtFlyer Property Code in a print advertisement?
It all comes down to tracking interest in a property and being able to follow up with individuals that express interest. Use of your virtFlyer Property Code transforms passive media advertisements into activity that you can track and follow up on turning inquiries into buyers.
Are there any additional fees?

Do you provide reports and metrics on code usage?
Yes you can choose to receive system and property level activity reports on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Choices are indicated in your My Profile page.
Can I order additional / replacement signs?
Yes, additional signs can be ordered for specific codes through your My Codes page.
How long does it take to receive my signs?
Signs take approximately 4-5 business days to arrive.
Is the service currently available in Canada?
Yes, service is available in Canada.
Can I turn my virtFlyer Property Codes on and off at different times of the year?
Yes you can. The system does require that new codes, and codes that are turned on, remain in service for a minimum of 2 months.
